✩ Precision Dance Academy is a family-owned and operated small business that has been offering quality dance training to Pearland and surrounding areas since 2006. Our facility includes three dance spaces that are equipped with professional-grade floating dance floors that help protect our growing dancers and prevent injury. Our talented and diverse staff hold university degrees, teacher certifications, professional stage credits, national and regional titles, as well as extensive experience training dancers of all ages and abilities.

Top-tier training in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, drill prep, leaps & turns, technique, dance-acro, and creative dance. We offer children's summer camps, and int/adv level workshops and master classes.
The Heart Behind PDA: Meet Alicia
My story began in a small-town dance studio with a teacher who believed in me and made every effort to give me the training and experiences I needed to grow. Dance was not always affordable for our family, but my parents worked incredibly hard, took on extra jobs and continually made a way for me to pursue what I loved.
The arts were woven throughout my childhood. My grandfather performed with the Houston Symphony and helped develop children’s programming, while my uncle built sets for Theatre Under the Stars. My grandfather once told me, “Figure out what you love, and make sure you love what you choose to do, because you are going to do it for the rest of your life.” I knew that what I loved was dance.
At 21, I moved to New York City with the support of a fellow dance family who helped me take the next step toward my dreams. I trained at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway, attended auditions and experienced the excitement of pursuing a professional dance career. When my grandfather became ill with leukemia, however, my heart was pulled home to the family and people I loved, including the man who would later become my husband. Returning home did not mean giving up on my dream. Instead, it allowed that dream to become something much bigger than myself.
In 2006, at 23 years old, I opened Precision Dance Academy with just 25 students and a family willing to help make the dream possible. My dad helped support us financially during those early years, and my two talented and selfless sisters stepped in to teach when I could not yet afford to hire additional teachers.
The photo above was taken three years later in our new location. An unexpected move forced us to leave our original space, but what felt like a setback became a blessing in disguise. With my dad’s knowledge of stage construction, gained through years of working alongside my uncle, we designed and built our first true floating dance floors ourselves. That jump captured the joy, relief and hope of knowing we were ready to begin again.
Now, I have the privilege of leading PDA alongside my loving husband and our daughters, Maelie and Addie. It is my honor to give students what was given to me: excellent training, people who believe in them and a place where they feel known, encouraged, loved and supported.
Precision has always been more than a dance studio. It is a home, a community and a place where students from every background are encouraged to become all God created them to be. This studio has truly been built on prayer, the love of family and the faithfulness of God. All glory belongs to Him for what Precision has become and for the generations still to come.
