Parent Volunteer Information

We are always looking for female volunteers to assist in the dressing rooms. Parents, guardians, or responsible older siblings are welcome to help. If you are available, please complete and return a volunteer form to the front desk so we can plan accordingly.

In addition, we need male and female volunteers in other areas backstage and front of house to help make the recital a success. If you are willing to assist, please let us know.

Volunteer Appreciation: As a thank you, volunteers who work throughout the entire show will receive a complimentary Recital T-shirt.  

Our recital would not be possible without the support of amazing volunteers. Thank you in advance for helping us create a magical show! 

• Arrive 15 minutes before your show's call time. (45 mins early)
• Check in at the Dancer Drop-Off Area, where you will receive your class roster.
• No younger siblings are allowed backstage for safety and space reasons.
• Please wear your recital t-shirt to both the dress rehearsal and the recital.
• Stay with your assigned group of dancers and help keep them calm and occupied. 

• Bring quiet, mess-free activities (like coloring books).
• No food, Play-Doh, markers, or electronic devices are allowed backstage.
• Help with basic needs—costumes, restroom breaks, and transitions.

 You will be able to watch your dancer perform from a designated side entrance in the auditorium. 

• A check-in/check-out roster will be provided.
• Please stay until all dancers in your group are picked up.
• After the dress rehearsal, you may leave once all your dancers are signed out.
• For the recital, we ask volunteers to remain until the end of the show to assist with final dismissal.
